Tracing my Roots in Fujian China

Angkong and his first wife :)

THE CUA =KE=O FAMILY
Welcome to Zenbei Village

Zenbei Village Matou Town Fujian China

trying to get a feel of my Angkong's village ...
April 3-4 was a big celebration in my Angkong's side..as we celebrate our ancestor's birthday and Chinese All Souls Day.. This year was extra special because my cousin Ke Kai Jung was the "hermano Mayor" for the clan/village festivities ..and so we had our own Philippine Delegation-- hehe  to take part in this important occasion
I have been to Fujian 20 years ago..I must admit that a lot has changed already especially in terms of infrastructure--credit that to China's notable progress.. but the same feeling of nostalgia and a sense of belongingness is still very much alive in my entire trip ..
This awesome play highlights the rich Chinese culture featuring the history of my Angkong's Village... A is an amazing!!!!
