Izakaya is one of the many Japanese Restaurants nestled in a block called Little Tokyo in Makati |
On a Sunday --11:30am is already fully packed :p I suggest you make a reservation to avoid the long queue. The receptionist informed me that reservation on weekends must be at least two weeks ahead of your desired date to be accommodated :) |
This must be a good sign since my waiting list number happens to be my favorite :) Mind you, about 10minutes waiting ---the number given was already in the 20s --whoaaaaa |
In action... |
Preparing Sushi, Sashimi and frying Tempura |
They have Japanese Style Dining area |
My hungry boys :p |
Misho Shiru |
I opted for the Miso Soup since I already ate Churros from Legaspi Market en route hehe |
Ebi Tempura |
Of course I have to try their Tempura .. succulent yes, crispy yes but isn't as good as Hannamaruken's |
Kyuten Mori -Assorted Sashimi |
Salmon, Tuna, Lobster, Scallop, Mackerel, Uni... |
The taste is as good as this lovely photo :) |
The freshest Uni by far... |
My boys ordered Gyu Steak-- Unfortunately we have to cancel after an hour of waiting :( the busy kitchen forgot our order --sigh tsk tsk minus points |
But oh well-- by the look of my boys -- the Sashimi is more than enough reason for us to come back :) |
TOTAL DAMAGE |

We would have given Izakaya 3 but the Kyuten Mori is so heavenly it's so worth the trip to Makati. So it's a 4out of 5 for Izakaya Kikufuji :)
